Kate Hudson Is Kicking Off 2021 With Pink Hair
This is the first time in more than six years that she’s dabbled in the pastel color.
Pink hair was one of the biggest trends of 2020, thanks in part to pandemic-induced boredom and what has become very easy access to pastel hair dyes and color conditioners that can be used at home. Regular folks and celebrities alike were playing around with the pretty shade throughout the year, and from the looks of it, it'll be going strong in 2021. Case in point: Kate Hudson.
The actor and entrepreneur posted a quick video to her Instagram Stories on Monday, December 4, in which she's jamming out to her son's sick toy xylophone beats and suggesting the London Symphony Orchestra should get in touch with her about recruiting him and her headbanging other son. She's using a filter that adds a sparkle effect to the video, but the new hair color we see appears to be the real deal.
Hudson is wearing her hair down with a sweet little braid alongside her face. Although her roots are a natural-looking dirty blonde, her hair is mostly pastel pink from about eye level down to her ends — and it looks so cute.
